All men and boys are welcome to come along and sing with us for 3 weeks and then make a choice about becoming a member of the choir.

🎶 ANCA Workshop & Concert

with Dr Christopher Kiver

🗓 Date: Sunday, 27 July

🕘 Time: 3:00 PM

📍 Location: Trinity College, East Perth

We are thrilled to be participating in an exclusive workshop led by world-renowned conductor Dr Christopher Kiver, Professor of Music at Pennsylvania State University and a double Grammy Award winner.

Over the course of the day, we will rehearse two new pieces to perform in a massed choir alongside two other featured choirs. Each choir will also present a short individual set. The day will conclude with a concert in the Trinity Hall (800-seat capacity) at 3:00 PM.

Tickets: $15 (Available at the door)

🔔 Note: We receive a share of the ticket proceeds based on the number of attendees who come to see our choir. Please spread the word to friends and family and mention BMOS at the door!

🎵 Bethanie / Wattle Hill Concerts

🗓 Date: Saturday, 6 September

📍 Locations: Wattle Hill and Bethanie, Dalyellup

We are looking forward to performing for residents and these two fantastic facilities.

🌭 Bull and Barrel Festival

🗓 Date: Saturday, 11 October

📍 Location: Dardanup

We’ll perform a short set of approximately six songs as part of the festival entertainment. In addition, we will once again run our popular sausage sizzle, one of our major fundraisers for the year.

🎄 Christmas Concert with Vocal Fusion

🗓 Date: Saturday, 29 November

🕕 Time: Concert starts around 7:00 PM

📍 Location: St Augustine’s Bunbury

Join us for an evening of festive cheer and beautiful music at our Christmas Concert with Vocal Fusion. It will feature heartwarming performances featuring a blend of traditional and contemporary Christmas favourites.

This special, ticketed event is a wonderful way to welcome the holiday season, and proceeds will support both choirs’ future performances. Bring your family and friends for a magical night of music and community spirit.

A free community concert with a Christmas theme at a beautiful foreshore venue. Proudly supported and sponsored by Dome Cafes Bunbury.

🍒 Manjimup Cherry Festival

🗓 Date: Saturday, 13 December

📍 Location: Manjimup

Celebrate the cherry season in style at the Manjimup Cherry Festival! Our choir is excited to be performing two uplifting sets as part of the day’s entertainment.

With market stalls, food trucks, and local festivities, this is a fantastic family day out – and a perfect chance to enjoy live music in a vibrant community atmosphere. Entry is free, so come along and soak up the sounds and flavours of summer!

Men Against Domestic Violence

The MADV Fundraising Concert held at the BREC on December 6, 2024, was an inspiring showcase of music, community and positive change.

Audiences were captivated by stellar performances from Imogen Pinelli (Livid Lilleth), the South West Opera Company, the Vocal Fusion Choir, and the powerful MADV Choir. Highlights included moving renditions of Man in the Mirror and Seasons of Love, as well as original songs that resonated deeply with the evening's theme of unity and responsibility.

The concert, part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, raised $7000 to support vital frontline services. More than just a musical event, it was a call to action, uniting performers and attendees in a shared commitment to building safer, more respectful communities.

Wanted: An Accompanist for Bunbury Men of Song

Our Choir is a volunteer community based Not For Profit - Male Voice Choir of around 35 members. We perform in a variety of settings in our own right and also work with other music groups and bands to bring music to our audiences across WA, Interstate and sometimes overseas.

Bunbury Men of Song are seeking an Accompanist to join our music team from February 2024 and work alongside our Music Director Greg Ross

The person would ideally be able to

1. Work under the direction of the Music Director to create a collaborative and supportive environment for men to learn and perform

2. Attend weekly rehearsals on Monday nights in Bunbury. There are may be extra rehearsals leading up to a major performance

3. Be able to play a wide range of accompaniments for our 4 part Male Voice Choir and be able to play the individual parts for learning during rehearsals

4. Be the accompanist for Choir Performances which may include occasional  travel at the choirs expense

The choir is able to provide an honorarium to express our thanks for the skills offered in service of our community.
